VPCA Governance Framework: Adoption of New Bylaws

To ensure the long-term sustainability and integrity of the Association, VPCA operates under a defined set of Bylaws. These rules were prepared by the VPCA Governance Committee and formally approved by the Board of Directors, becoming effective on 5 January 2026.

Scope of the Bylaws

‍This framework sets out the fundamental rules for the Association, including:

• Membership: Defining categories, rights, obligations, and disciplinary matters.
• Decision Making: Protocols for member meetings, voting, and the delegated authority of Committees.
• Leadership: The roles and powers of the Board of Directors and the appointment of the Executive Director.
• Accountability: Financial governance, audit standards, and our Code of Conduct.
